Cloudy Lemonade

Cloudy Lemonade was the flavour that inspired the whole idea of Breckland Orchard. I have the most wonderful memories of drinking 'proper' lemonade when I was a child…. not the clear in colour stuff, sold in big 2 litre bottles and if truth-be-told pretty flavourless! Our Breckland Orchard Cloudy Lemonade is a million miles away from this in terms of taste - clean and crisp tasting, it will have your whole mouth bursting with flavour.

Judges at the Great Taste Awards gave it a massive thumbs up and commented ‘Judges love the gentle carbonation which works with the lemon very well. Most refreshing, light and not overly sweetened’. It's best served chilled, and over ice. Perfect for lazy summer days, or when you want to enjoy some serious refreshment. it's heavenly as a mixer too! 

Elderflower

I only wanted to make an Elderflower Posh Pop if it could be truly amazing! I experimented and was delighted that it was awarded a Great Taste Award  by the Guild of Fine Food the first year I made it. Judges commented ‘a delicious,authentic, elderflower drink. A grown up drink with true elderflower mustiness. We felt there was an honesty about this product. Delicious!’

Strawberry & Rhubarb

Strawberries and rhubarb are just the perfect combination and never more so than in this amazingly refreshing soft drink.  The flavours are perfectly balanced – we’ve carefully crafted just the right amount of each and added a slight touch of vanilla to really enhance the taste. It’s our favourite flavour to make as the smell is just wonderful.

For lots [and lots] of people this is the best flavour that we make here at Breckland Orchard. Someone recently dropped us an email to say ‘strawberry and rhubarb tastes completely unique – kind of fruity, but with a real velvetness to it too….summery, but like a hug in a bottle too’.  And we couldn’t sum it up better!

Pear & Elderflower

Could we take the taste of elderflower and twist it to make a new classic?  Pear was the obvious answer, and we are so glad we did! The floral notes dance around your mouth and really quench a thirst.

It’s quite rightly one of our most popular flavours, and we have had so many comments back from fans about the perfect balance and the way the flavours complement each other.

Ginger Beer with Chilli

There is an army of Breckland Orchard Ginger Beer with Chilli lovers out there who adore its complex flavours and delicious chilli zing! We use citrus in the recipe, so you get a nice burst of citrus flavour, then the zing of ginger and finally just the gentlest tingle of chilli right at the back of your mouth.  It has a mellow taste which works perfectly with food or as a mixer.

It has won several Great Taste awards from the Guild of Fine Foods, and judges have commented ‘this drink has a pleasing cloudiness and the amount of carbonation is just right. A refreshing, delicious ginger beer with a subtle kick of chilli right at the end. It is not over-sweet with a good balance of flavours’.

Zero Sugar Elderflower

This is the same recipe as our regular elderflower, but we’ve taken all of the sugar out and replaced it with sweeteners.  It may be sugar free, but it’s full of flavour. Floral delight on the palette indeed. It’s hard to believe that there are zero calories in the whole bottle [yes really!].  My friend Sally describes it as ‘guilt free gorgeousness’.

Suitable for diabetics or anyone choosing to drink more mindfully.

Plum & Cherry

Plum & Cherry is a big favourite here at Breckland Orchard HQ. In fact we think it’s completely gorgeous. Plums and cherries make a fabulous combination, which we gently carbonate to make a magical Posh Pop.  One coffee shop told us about a customer at the counter who after paying for it literally swooned in delight. Hearing little anecdotes like this makes our hearts sing with pride.

Lisa’s feedback to us was as follows ‘my absolute favourite drink of all time. The fusion of plum and cherry is beautiful with a good punch of flavour from beginning to end. Must be tried to really understand how good it really is’.  That made us really happy.

Sloe & Rose Lemonade

So pretty – and so tasty too!  The wonderful colour of our Sloe & Rose Lemonade first attracts people and then one sip and they are smitten [it’s hard not to be].  We use a touch of sloe juice to give it a lovely pink hue, and a dash of rose water to add a floral complexity. I was inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine which uses lots of citrus and rose.  It’s a drink that took plenty of work to get exactly perfect!

It works so well as a mixer with gin, or just straight up in a glass with ice. However you drink it, enjoy!

Zero Sugar Cloudy Lemonade

It was the love of lemonade that started the whole Breckland Orchard story so I was delighted to add this zero sugar Cloudy Lemonade to the range.  Just 5 calories per bottle, with the only sugars coming from those naturally occurring in fruit.

It tastes wonderful, and packs such a punch in terms of flavour that it’s hard to believe that its just 5 calories and sugar free.  I hope you’re as smitten as we all are here at Breckland Orchard HQ.

Dandelion & Burdock

Dandelion & Burdock has the ability to transport you right back to carefree summer days.  Feedback from customers is typically ‘amazing’, ‘a real taste of my childhood’. I would describe Dandelion & Burdock [aka D&B] as the British equivalent to root beer to anyone who hasn’t encountered it.

The Breckland Orchard range contains no artificial colours and Dandelion & Burdock is no different. As a result it’s slightly lighter in colour than other brands – and I would say even more fabulous as a result!

The Summer Fruit Cup blog put it as their number one D&B in a taste test summing it up as ‘smooth, not too fizzy, hints of honey, strong anis elements and very well balanced. Delicious, refreshing and a great example of D&B’

Cream Soda

Our Cream Soda has so many fans! It has all the creamy, vanilla notes of a classic cream soda, but we’ve given it a splash of rhubarb to really set off the flavours. I always think of it as a guaranteed smile maker, as it has the ability to put an instant smile on the face.  In fact I’ve lost count of the times that people say ‘Ahhh’ in delight when they taste it.

So if you ever need a smile then crack open a bottle of Cream Soda with a splash of rhubarb and you’ll be in heaven.

Zero Sugar Strawberry & Rhubarb

I’ve lost count of the times that we’ve been asked to make this flavour – and so of course we had to listen.  Strawberry & rhubarb is such a wonderfully refreshing combination – the touch of vanilla sets off the flavour perfectly.  And our sugar free version uses the same base recipe, just with sweeteners instead of sugar.

Our sugar free Strawberry & Rhubarb tastes delicious, but yet has only 8 calories per bottle from the naturally occurring fruit juice. Low calorie and sugar free most definitely doesn’t have to be a compromise on taste.

Zero Sugar Raspberry Lemonade

They say when life gives you Lemons make lemonade, but if you can add in some raspberries then make some magical lemonade. Enjoy our enchanting Zero Sugar Raspberry Lemonade, and feel angelic because its only 6 kcal per bottle.

Craft Cola

Our Craft Cola has returned for Summer 2022!  I obsessed about getting the flavour just right and to use no E numbers. Most Cola's use E150d and E338 in their recipes, and I wanted to go back to the drawing board for natural alternatives.  Barley Malt Extract and Lemon Juice have been used as alternatives.

We were super proud when our Craft Cola was awarded a Great Taste Award 1 Star in 2018 with judges commenting: 'this is a refreshing light drink with well balanced ingredients....Its is a very moreish product' and 'A good cola nut aroma...a very clean and refreshing cola drink, not overly sweet, demonstrating good balance'
